Yazaki 7157-3580-60 58 Y-Type 9.5mm Green Wire Seal

Yazaki 7157-3580-60 58 Y-Type 9.5mm Green Wire Seal

The Component: Genuine Yazaki 7157-3580-60 individual automotive single-wire rubber cavity seal. 58 Connector Y-Type / YESC Kaizen 9.5mm Series waterproof cable insulation seal (Green / Silicone / Individual Piece).

Applications & Fitment: Designed as a high-capacity factory original equipment (OE) harsh-environment moisture, dust, and splash barrier for heavy-duty automotive power distribution and charging harnesses. Universally specified across global Japanese passenger car and commercial vehicle platforms to seal the rear wire entries of high-current 58 Y-Type and large-format YESC hybrid connector housings.

Most commonly utilized on heavy-gauge cabling runs for starter motor solenoids, alternator charging feeds, main battery distribution links, and high-amp radiator fan relays. Highly vulnerable to structural tearing or rubber wall slicing if forced into compact housing cavities using non-profiled sharp hand tools, or hardening and loss of elasticity if exposed to prolonged chemical contaminants outside specified engine-bay limits.
