Yazaki 7114-4025 2.3II 2.3mm Sealed Male Terminal Pin

The Component: Genuine Yazaki 7114-4025. Automotive male pin tab terminal contact (Tin Plated / Loose Piece / Reel Variant).

Series Taxonomy: Yazaki 2.3II (090II) Sealed Terminal Series. A high-conductivity, precision-stamped Japanese automotive terminal footprint engineered to maintain rock-solid low-voltage circuit connection under punishing chassis vibrations and demanding powertrain conditions.

Terminal Interface: 2.3mm (.090 size) wide male flat blade pin tab contact featuring a high-retention structural tang configures explicitly for secure insertion inside matching Yazaki 2.3II series male connector housings.

Locking and Sealing Security: Engineered for high-integrity environmentally sealed connector blocks. Features an integrated rear insulation crimp wings structure optimized to firmly anchor individual silicone wire cable seals (such as 7158-3006-90 or 7157-3646), locking out moisture ingress and securing the conductor against severe axial cable strain.

Mating Complement: Mates directly inside the wiring loom connection path with the corresponding Yazaki 2.3II series female receptacle socket terminal under part number 7116-4025 (or variant 7116-5044-02).

Common Applications: Extensively specified across global Japanese passenger car and commercial vehicle harnesses, most prominently within Toyota, Lexus, Subaru, Nissan, and Mitsubishi electrical networks. Regularly crimped into critical low-voltage sensor lines, variable valve timing (VVT) solenoid plugs, wiper motor harnesses, and exterior lighting pigtail assemblies. Highly vulnerable to localized terminal corrosion, pin bending, or crimp neck stress fractures if serviced using non-calibrated hand tools or subjected to moisture tracking through compromised wire insulation.

Yazaki 7114-4025 2.3II (090II) Series 2.3mm Tin-Plated Sealed Male Pin Tab Terminal

Restore flawless electrical conductivity, prevent intermittent sensor resistance spikes, and execute factory-standard harness rebuilds with the genuine Yazaki 7114-4025 2.3mm male sealed tab terminal contact. Precision-stamped from a premium copper-brass alloy and finished in a high-purity tin plating, this 090-size automotive pin contact is an essential trade piece for professional pigtail fabrication and wiring restoration. Engineered to handle a broad wire gauge range from 0.30mm2 to 0.50mm2 (22-20 AWG), it provides an exceptionally stable, ultra-low resistance connection path that manages a nominal current load up to 10A safely without risking thermal fatigue or current transmission loss.

The 7114-4025 terminal utilizes dual-stage open-barrel crimp wings, providing a cold-welded mechanical bond over fine-stranded automotive wire while simultaneously locking down matching weather seals. The tin-plated finish delivers excellent defense against oxidation and atmospheric tarnishing, ensuring smooth mating insertion and a gas-tight electrical interface over an extended service lifespan. This authentic component allows independent auto-electrical specialists, motorsport wiring engineers, and trade diagnostic hubs to achieve repeatable, factory-certified crimping results that survive harsh under-hood environmental cycles.
